A little more from that children’s book. Haven’t been able to do much with everything I’ve got going on right now, but it looks like we’re going to nail down a timeline in the near future.

Sorry for the radio silence. It’s been a crazy couple weeks. Trying to graduate in August, which means my schedule is 9 to 9 most days. Updates will be sparse, but here’s one. I’ve been printing. A lot. So much fun.

Everyone in the NYC area should stop by Society of Illustrators to see my work in the Student Scholarship Competition show, now through the 29th. 128 East 63rd Street (between Park and Lex).
P.S. The same piece is now for sale as a print here: http://www.society6.com/studio/fridayface/Streetcar_Poster. I haven’t gotten a proof yet, so no guarantees about quality, but it seems like the guys at society6 (a totally unrelated “society”) have their act together.
More prints to come, hopefully. Taking requests, of course.
P.P.S. Thanks for snapping the photo, Louise.

I put a poorly-lit flip through of my seminar project up on my site: http://fridayface.com/#365571/Charlie-Mike.

My lumberjack from the last post really can’t be appreciated in the full image. I kind of love him even though he looks like a hipster.

WTF?
Sad to see. Some pretty obvious copy/pastes here. Even the ones of Hexagonall’s that are “original” are rather weak conceptually.

I helped a friend out with her project by designing a coffee cup sleeve. Its one in a series meant to advertise a tattoo parlor.
