
I just finished a Ceramics class, one of my last art electives before I graduate. Throwing for the first time made me hate life, but I got the hang of it eventually. Sorry they’re cell phone photos; they really don’t do these justice, but my camera’s packed away.
Some favorites:



It’s hard to see the slip inlay but it turned out pretty well.

A pretty cool floating lip on the rim of this one. That’s either a spout or a spoon rest on the side. Cracked a little, but worth patching I think.

I call this one Lefty Jar. Guess why? I just love the Tenmoku glaze.

I also love Rutile Blue for interiors.

One crazy teapot. I like how unpredictable the shino glazes are. The lid is actually the same glaze as the rest of the pot. It was just higher up in the kiln. It has little feet on the bottom too.
But this one’s definitely my favorite: 
Look at that crack! And it still holds together perfectly. No good for cereal, but gorgeous.
